Founded on a New Approach to Benefits Brokerage Consulting

While enjoying successful careers on the group carrier side of employee benefits, Jon Head and Ted Kane saw an opportunity to bring a unique approach to the brokerage industry.

They had seen the best and worst of employee benefit brokers and consultants. They envisioned a consultative broker practice. Clients would receive unbiased, expert advice normally available from top consulting houses, plus the attentive service and ongoing administrative support usually found at top brokerage firms. With this goal, 21st Century Benefit Advisors, Inc. was founded in 1999.

Since our beginning the firm has successfully employed a consultative broker strategy and built the practice to serve a wide range of organizations. At first we worked with large groups of more than 1,000 employees. But our growth has come by guiding organizations of all sizes, in diverse industries including technology, healthcare, manufacturing, defense, education, transportation and professional services.

Our focus originally rooted in how to secure the best insurance products and services for our clients has evolved to include solutions to address:
